Former HR Director & Brigadier General in the Royal Dutch Army Kees de Rijke is an experienced HR-executive and former Brigadier General in the Royal Dutch Army. After a long military career in leadership, intelligence and operations, he transitioned into the role of HR Director of the Royal Dutch Army. Now he focuses on complex change and leadership development across public and private sectors. Kees plays an active role in veteran and civic initiatives. He is chair of the Veteranen Search Team, a volunteer organisation supporting search efforts for missing persons, and also chairs Hulp voor Helden/KPPR, which offers support to Dutch veterans. He holds several other leadership roles in community and defence-related foundations. Kees is known for his strategic insight, being calm in complex situations, and ability to guide teams through change. Skills he shaped by years of service in demanding, extreme operational environments. Kees is often consulted on issues where leadership, resilience and (public) service intersect. His approach is no-nonsense, people-centred and driven by purpose.
