Head of Sales, Benelux and Middle East
Joost van der Mersch is Head of Sales Benelux & Middle East at Stripe, where he leads growth across two of the company’s fastest-growing regions. In this role, he is responsible for expanding Stripe’s presence across enterprise, digital native and platform businesses, helping organizations leverage payment infrastructure as a driver for growth, international expansion and operational scalability.
With nearly eight years at Stripe, Joost has held multiple commercial leadership roles across the UK, Ireland, Benelux and Middle East markets. Prior to leading the Benelux & Middle East business, he was part of Stripe UK’s go-to-market leadership team, overseeing enterprise sales and strategic growth initiatives for some of the company’s largest clients across retail, fintech and SaaS.
Before joining Stripe, Joost worked at Gartner, advising enterprise organizations on digital transformation, technology strategy and growth priorities across the Benelux and UK markets.
