Susan Swarte serves as Chief Financial Officer at TNO since 2021, responsible for Finance, Procurement, Legal and Data & Analytics. In this role she is also responsible for Market, Tech Transfer and TNO Ventures. She currently is also a supervisory board member at Acta Marine and Biotech Booster and a non-executive director at Toxys. Prior to TNO, she held the position of CFO at Olympia, Van Hessen, Nederlandse Staatsloterij, ReCor Medical Inc and OctoPlus NV. Prior to that she has also served as a non-executive board member at multiple companies, including Peterson Control Union, Generali NV, Heineken Netherlands and Newtricious. Susan holds a MSc degree in Business Economics from the Erasmus University Rotterdam and a Registered Controllers degree from VU Amsterdam.
