Pieter leads the Private Equity and Venture Capital practices in Europe and also heads the Consumer practice in the Netherlands. He is known for his forward-thinking mindset, strong results orientation, and ability to keep sight of the bigger picture. Sharp and to the point, he challenges both clients and candidates to succeed, unlock their full potential, and create impact—strategically and personally.

He supports clients in achieving their strategic goals by connecting them with top leadership talent and helping build high-performing leadership teams. In addition, Pieter is an experienced leadership consultant, providing in-depth analysis of current and future leaders, both at an individual and team level.

Before joining Odgers in 2014, Pieter worked for several executive search firms in the Netherlands and Cyprus. Earlier in his career, he briefly explored a path as a forensic psychologist. He holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Erasmus University Rotterdam.

Outside of work, Pieter is a family-oriented person who enjoys traveling and sports, always seeking adventure, creativity, and personal growth. For him, Odgers represents a true sparring partner, a place where energy, ambition, impact, and teamwork come together, with a strong focus on the human side of leadership.
