Leonie Schreve joined PwC as an ESG partner in Deals from ING where she was Global Head of Sustainable Finance in which she led the commercial efforts on the sustainability side. Before joining the commercial side of the bank Leonie headed the Environmental Social Risk Management team and introduced the new topic of sustainability risk management. Leonie has represented ING in the board of the United Nations Environmental Program (UNEP FI Banking Commission) and has acted as Chair of the Equator Principles Steering Committee till 2013. Leonie has more than 20yrs experience in sustainability through her work as Management Consultant at DHV/Haskoning, as independent consultant in Costa Rica.
