Professor Mirjam van Praag is Chair of the Advisory Council for Science, Technology and Innovation (AWTI) of the Dutch government next to being Professor of Entrepreneurship & Leadership at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and member of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW). Besides, she is currently chairing or member of various non-executive boards.
In the recent past , Mirjam was president of the management board of Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, and professor at Copenhagen Business School and University of Amsterdam. She also served as a crown member of the Socio-Economic Council for the government (SER), and was founder/leader of the Amsterdam Center for Entrepreneurship (ACE). She was on the board of various organizations in a non-exec role, such as Berlingske Media Denmark, APG and Centraal Planbureau.
